Already recognized as one of Whistler’s most iconic buildings, the Audain Art Museum is an absolute gem set mere steps from the very heart of Whistler village. A fantastically convenient location is one thing, but when you add lovely spaces filled with serenity and light, world-famous artworks on display in airy, soaring galleries (which are accessible to wedding and events guests during event bookings) and beautifully landscaped grounds, it all makes for a pretty tempting mix. This is a venue that is definitely worthy of consideration during your planning process.
Not just inspired by nature but immersed in it, three breathtaking and secluded venues provided by the Canadian Wilderness Adventures group, are the ultimate in rustic romance.
“The Barn” A custom-built old-time barn, ideal for a wilderness or backcountry themed event, perfectly blending country charm with modern conveniences; redolent of pioneer days and replete with charming rustic details. The Barn can accommodate groups from an intimate 20 right up to an extravagant affair for 300.
“The Caboose” It’s ‘all aboard!’ for this quaint and truly unique venue for smaller events of 18-20 guests. This authentic CN Rail caboose is enhanced with a rooftop deck, plus exterior deck and gazebo, and has been tastefully refurbished with seating, wood-burning stove, and bar. Can you spell ‘atmosphere’?
“The Cabin” An enchanting, custom-built log cabin perched in spectacular fashion atop Sproatt Mountain, with an outside deck providing jaw-dropping views of Sproatt Lake and the Callaghan Valley. Comfortably seating 18 inside, The Cabin is the venue of choice for couples who desire the last word in a get-back-to-nature wedding.

If a classic hotel venue tops your wish list, then the stylish elegance of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler could be your ideal. An award winning hotel in the grand tradition, the Fairmont delivers several ceremony and reception choices. Two of our favourites are the enchanting rooftop wedding chapel, and the magical winter-only ‘The Chalet’ (gorgeous when all dressed up with sparkling candles, lanterns and fairy lights) – be sure to ask about the sleigh-ride option!

We like this well-appointed hotel for its location, just steps from the heart of the village, and for its multiple options both indoors and out, for everything from simple elopements to grand scale weddings with all the trimmings. Whatever your desires for your special day, we are confident the Hilton can deliver. One thing is for sure, whether your Hilton wedding be large or small, it will be a talking point for your guests for years to come.

Imagine saying “I do” on the shores of a pristine glacier-fed lake, with a stunning far-reaching mountain panorama as the backdrop. If this is your dream, then the Nicklaus North clubhouse and restaurant will truly bring your dream to gorgeous reality. Captivating and charming in its ambience and style, ‘Nic North’ offers exceptionally flexible, bright and airy spaces for weddings both large and small.
Just a five-minute ride from the heart of Whistler, enjoying a serene lakeshore setting that breathes romance, Nita Lake Lodge invokes an old-time ski lodge yet with a cool contemporary vibe, offering a number of indoor and alfresco spaces to suit both small and large guest lists.
Named for good reason in Trip Advisor’s “Top 25 hotels in Canada”, this captivating venue is the perfect choice for couples wanting style combined with mountain chic.

For couples demanding a truly unique setting unlike any other, the Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre ticks all the boxes. This stunning space reflects the rich and ancient culture of the Squamish and Lil’Wat nations, yet with a modern architectural vibe that never fails to impress.
Weddings can be accommodated in the airy, soaring space of the Great Hall, and/or the more intimate, circular Istken Hall which lends itself to a myriad design and décor ideas.

Set on 12 acres of lush rainforest, enclosed by beautifully landscaped gardens and enticing woodland paths, the Brew Creek Centre offers a peaceful spot for your fairy-tale wedding. Located just 20 minutes south of the heart of Whistler, yet the Brew Creek Centre has an atmospheric and almost spiritual ambience that feels like it’s light years away. We love its perfect combination of West coast style and unpretentious rustic chic.
Recently named No.2 among Canada’s Top 20 resorts, and renowned for the top-notch service distinguishing the Four Seasons hotel chain worldwide, the Whistler Four Seasons never disappoints us. With striking décor that channels rustic mountain charm but with an edgy, contemporary twist, the Four Seasons offers several wedding packages – or, couples may go ‘a la carte’ based on their personal needs.

Set like a jewel in the idyllic Pemberton valley just a short drive north of Whistler sits The Meadows golf club, boasting a winning combination of gorgeous views and hard-to-beat versatility in terms of ceremony and reception choices. If wide open spaces and breathtaking vistas are what set your heart racing, it won’t take long for you to fall in love with this magical venue. This slice of wedding heaven offers an indoor setting with a 5,000 sq ft clubhouse complete with on-site chef, catering and kitchen, open-concept dining room and bar, plus a covered lounge patio, and a glorious outdoor setting that is, quite simply, profoundly beautiful.
With views over lush rolling meadows to the picture-postcard backdrop of majestic Mount Currie, cue gasps from your guests and jumping-for-joy from your photographer.
The icing on the cake? The entire outdoor area is fully licensed, allowing you to party on without any concerns; The Meadows include free transportation in and around Pemberton for your guests (consult with them on their recommended local accommodations) and if you really want the WOW factor on a grand scale, the Pemberton airport is right next door for possible helicopter entrances and exits. Ticks a few boxes on your list? We thought it might.
Location. Location. Location. Situated literally right on Whistler mountain, mere steps from mountain gondolas and in the heart of lively, award-winning Whistler village, the Westin has it all. Twice named by Conde Nast as the No. 1 ski resort hotel in North America, the Westin design aesthetic incorporating indigenous West coast rock and timber, provides a stunning backdrop for your wedding photographs. With an array of ceremony and dining options, couples selecting a Westin wedding will be spoiled for choice.
For a memorable and spectacular setting for your dream wedding, the legendary mountains of Whistler and Blackcomb are tough to beat. Invite your guests to board a spectacular gondola ride to the alpine, enjoying gorgeous mountain vistas along the way, before joining you for a ceremony and celebration which, whether indoors or out, summer or winter, will have the jaw-dropping backdrop of the beautiful Coast Mountain range.
OR, if you prefer to remain at lower elevations, select from one of three Whistler Blackcomb valley locations, each with its own very distinct style and ambience.

Those eclectic and avant garde couples seeking a more unconventional venue unique in atmosphere and history, might consider the Whistler Sliding Centre and Olympic Park.
Both these stunning venues are part of Whistler’s ‘Sport Legacies’ from the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The Sliding Centre, home of the world’s fastest ice-track, hosted the Olympic bobsleigh, skeleton, and luge events. The state-of-the-art facility is located just minutes from Whistler village in the Fitzsimmons Valley, on the south-east slope of Blackcomb Mountain.
On offer for weddings and events are two outdoor ceremony sites, both featuring gorgeous views of the village and far-reaching Coast Mountain peaks:
The Top Start House with a choice of a covered upper deck (with access to an inside room of smaller capacity) or a lower deck with tenting capabilities.
The Thunderbird Pavilion, located in the sweeping loop of the famous Thunderbird Corner, location of many thrilling Olympic moments, has generous tenting capabilities, not to mention photo opportunities that will be unlike any others.
